Now There Are Books!
The Captain Mark Richards Chronicles
Kerry Cassidy has now released her interviews with Captain Mark Richards in both e-book and paperback versions. Before getting too excited readers should realize that nothing new has been added. They are the same interviews that are covered on this site as well as the excellent presentations on the Knowledge Fight podcast.
Those were simpler days. Mark talked about space war. Kerry had yet to be fully invested in Q-Anon conspiracies or the belief that Juan O Savin was JFK Jr. We could simply sit back and enjoy the stories and Mark was happy to oblige
We learned any number of things:
-
- When raptors took a break from eating people they enjoyed antiquing and eating chocolate.
- Interstellar politics are important. The Praying Mantis people have lost power over the last 50 years. They were initially favorable toward humans, but that has changed over time.
- Aliens have a number of uses for humans, including using us as a food source; developing the tourist trade for vacations on earth; becoming allies for military and political power; and, serving as subjects for genetic experiments.
- Earth is the hone world of the raptors. They left 65 million years ago and now live in the Draco constellation, yet take an interest in human affairs. They rent castles in England and fund movies. They are aligned with the United States.
- Venus a great place in 65 other dimensions apart from this one. Val Thor came from Venus. They want to colonize us.
- The 1971 Persepolis Intersteller Treaty gave humans the right to exist. However, humans still do not have complete sovereignty or control of our own futures.
- The only reason that we still have control of our planet is because our military has told the various enemy races that if they try anything, we will nuke our own planet. The philosophy of the secret space program is that if we can’t have it no one else can.
- Trump is controlled by aliens. He went from being a mediocre millionaire to being mega-rich. His wife is a biological creation that operates as his direct link to an alien race. She is his ‘communication device.’
- Much of what is going on here has to do with the battles against Dracos in the Orion Galaxy. Raptors have recruited one million humans to fight there. At the same time the Draco and China are working to distract the Raptors. Still, the Dracos are on the run!
The book could have used new interviews. We once offered some potential updates but there is so much more. Readers might want to know what the raptors are currently doing or the status of the Orion War. Personal updates might be important as well. Is Mark feeling good and holding up after his marriage to JoAnn ended? Now that he is no longer with JoAnn, perhaps he simply should leave the planet to be with Atimpaasa, his long love. And what about his biological ship, Minerva?
But Kerry does deserve an honorable mention for sticking with Mark in other ways. She has continued to refer to him from time to time. That Mark lacks any documented proof to his story has never phased her. It does not matter to her that Mark was never in the military, he never had higher degrees, his father never headed Earth Security, or that his wife never noticed his battle injuries.
Time has bypassed much of Mark’s story. He is no longer discussed at conferences, his web sites are no longer active, and he does not hold either the reputation or awareness that he once experienced. In prison one day merges with the next and even Kerry does not talk about a possible pardon — perhaps she finally realized that Trump cannot pardon a state prisoner.
The Captain Mark Richards Chronicles have long ago been told. Unless Mark chooses to reveal how the Dill Factor fooled even his wife, any interviews with Kerry have lost the ring of truth that some once found.
The same might be said about Kerry. She still interviews people and recently participated in a Super Soldiers conference, yet I don’t think she has the influence when Project Camelot was at its height. People move on.
There really is no need to buy these books so I doubt they will lead to a resurgence of interest in Richards. There is still a story to tell — from true crime to fantasy, from Mark’s life sentence for murder to revealing his role as a captain in the secret space program. Kerry, however, will not be the one to tell it.
